Google Pixel and Pixel XL up for pre-order on Flipkart in India starting at Rs. 57000

Flipkart has started taking pre-orders for the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones in India starting at Rs. 57,000, it had promised. Both these were announced at an event in San Francisco last week.

The Pixel has a 5-inch 1080p screen with a 2,770mAh battery, while the Pixel XL has a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen with a 3450mAh battery. Both these are powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM, run Android 7.1 (Nougat), have a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, LDAF, 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a fingerprint sensor on the back.
Flipkart is offering No Cost EMI, up to Rs. 27,000 off on exchange and free EGVs worth 10% of the cost of phone for first 1000 pre-orders. Except the 32GB Pixel XL version other Black variants are available for pre-order. According to Flipkart the orders will ship from 25th October.

Google already said that both the phones will be available from over 1000 organized and multi-brand retail stores with leading retail partners including Reliance Digital, Croma and Vijay sales among others.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Press Image Surfaces

Ladies and gentlemen, we now have what might be the very first renders that accurately present Samsung's Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, both of which will likely be announced next month at MWC 2016 (on February 21, to be exact). Revealed by @evleaks , the renders seem to be press images that may have originated from Samsung (thus not being fan-made renders). 70,000 Le 1s smartphones sold out in 2 seconds in first flash sale on Flipkart

LeEco (formerly known as Letv) today announced that it sold 70,000 Le 1s smartphones in just 2 seconds in the first flash sale at 12 noon on Flipkart. The company said that this is a new record in India. Yesterday Flipkart announced that it received over 5,30,000 lakh registrations for the smartphone within 10 days after registration opened.
