Motorola has finally started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the 2015 Moto E (2nd gen) 4G in India. It rolled out Android Marshmallow update for the Moto X Style smartphone in India back in November last year, Moto X Play, Moto G (3rd Gen) and Moto G Turbo edition got the Marshmallow update in India last month. The Moto G (2nd Gen) got the update earlier this month.
The Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G was launched in India running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) back in April last year. It received the Android 5.1 (Lollipop) update soon after. It got patches for Stagefright exploit back in September last year. Motorola confirmed Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for a range of smartphones back in October last year.
The Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) over-the-air (OTA) update v24.51.39 for the Moto E (2nd gen) is 453.9MB is size also includes the Android security update for January, 2016.

Samsung just sent out invites for the launch of its flagship Galaxy Note8 smartphone in India on September 12th, the same day as the Apple iPhone 8 event.
