After the successful launch of Redmi Note 3 smartphone earlier this year and the Mi Max phablet last month, Xiaomi is all to to launch Redmi 3S, its latest budget 4G smartphone in India soon. It was announced in China last month.  It has a metal body, fingerprint sensor on the back and packs a 4100mAh battery. It comes in two variants, one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and other version with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It is not clear if the company is planning to launch both the versions in the country. Xiaomi just announced Redmi Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the Redmi series at an event in China. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p OLED 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 / X25 SoC and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Sony just launched the  Xperia XA Ultra smartphone in India as it had promised last week . ZTE has launched Blade V6 and Axon Mini smartphones in India. The Blade V6 packs a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC, while the Axon Mini comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED 2.5D curved glass screen with 0.85mm slim bezels and is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 616 SoC. Gionee has announced M6 and M6 Plus smartphones in China. The Gionee M6 packs in a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display and the M6 Plus packs a 6-inch 1080p AMOLED screen. Both the phones are powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC and run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Amigo OS 3.2 on top. The Gionee M6 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), LED flash and the M6 Plus has a 16-megapixel rear camera. Both the phones have a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the phones have an encrypted chip to secure a user’s personal data and also for secured calls and SMS, in the Chinese version and international version of the phones come with a fingerprint sensor on the front. These have metal alloy body treated with zircon sand surface coating that offers a smooth finish. Both have infrared sensor on the top but the M6 Plus doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack. Xiaomi has announced that it has scheduled an event at the end of this month for a new product launch. It is expected that the Chinese smartphone maker will make the rumored Redmi Note 4 official at the event. Earlier this week, a teaser leak showed the Redmi Note 4 with unibody metal design. Last month, import listing showed that Samsung is planning to introduce Galaxy On5 (2016) (SM-G570F) and Galaxy On7 (2016) (SM- G610F) smartphones. Now the Galaxy On5 (2016) (SM-G570F) smartphone has surfaced on Geekbench listing. This reveals that the phone will be powered by a new Exynos 7570 SoC which could a quad-core or an octa-core SoC. It also shows that the phone will pack 2GB of RAM. Other specifications of the phone are still a mystery. Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) (SM- G610F) that had surfaced on Zauba earlier revealed dual-SIM support, 1080p screen, 13-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Since the first generation phones went official in China back in October last year, these phones might be announced in a couple of months. Hope we can expect more details about these phones in the coming weeks.
