Lenovo K5 Note with metal body, Helio P10, fingerprint sensor, 3500mAh battery announced



Lenovo has announced K5 Note, the successor of the K4 Note that was launched in India recently, after it got certified by TENAA. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), similar to the K4 Note, but this is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a aluminium unibody design and fingerprint sensor on the back that can detect fingerprints in just 0.3 seconds.
It features Dolby Atmos, powerful 1.5w speakers, dedicated audio chip, has dual SIM support and 4G connectivity with VoLTE and a 3500mAh battery.

The Lenovo K5 Note comes in Silver and Golden colors and is priced at 1099 Yuan ( US$ 167 / Rs. 11,325 approx.). It is not available for order in China and ships from January 31st. No word on the global roll out yet.
